The providers ("we", "us", "our") of the service provided by this web site ("Service") are not responsible for any user-generated content and accounts. Content submitted express the views of their author only.
This Service is only available to users who are at least 18 years old. If you are younger than this, please do not register for this Service. If you register for this Service, you represent that you are this age or older.
All content you submit, upload, or otherwise make available to the Service ("Content") may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential.
You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws. You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content or your conduct.
We may remove or modify any Content submitted at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion. We may terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.
English only, please.
VoD welcomes all nationalities but my native language is English. I don’t know any other languages. Therefore, only English is allowed here so that my staff and I may effectively moderate content.
Bannable Offenses
There are only two offenses that will get you permanently banned from VoD:
- Being an ass (flame wars, cyber-stalking, etc.)
- Posting child porn or links to it
Forum Etiquette
Freedom of expression is encouraged here, including the occasional, robust discussion of controversial issues. Please remember, this is an art forum, not a debate club. Political artwork and discussions are prohibited. Abuse and harassment, racial intolerance, extreme views from either end of the political spectrum, and sexual or other forms of aggression, will NOT be tolerated. Repeat offenders risk being permanently banned.
Other forms of inappropriate conduct may also lead to membership being revoked without warning.
Staying Active
You will never be required to post anything. We don't mind lurkers, but you must log in at least once every 365 days to stay active and avoid having your account deleted. Users with zero posts are automatically deleted after 365 days of inactivity to keep the board clean and organized.
Photo Manipulations
Copyrighted material altered by photo manipulation is prohibited. VoD is about original dark art and fiction. Hence, our slogan. We're not interested in what you can do with other peoples work. We want to see what you can create yourself, or in collaboration with others as part of a shared project.
Royalty-free photographs of environments which the artist has used as a backdrop for a 3D-rendered scene are allowed. This includes HDRI’s.
Images of Real People
Artists should refrain from using recognizable images of real people in their work, although this is not a hard and fast rule, and generally not enforced due to the stylistic nature of the mediums we support.
If you discover that a recognizable likeness of your face has been used in any image, and believe that this has violated your privacy or caused you distress in any way, please contact us with the details, and we will arrange for the image to be removed if appropriate.
Advertising
Advertising sites containing material related to visual art is allowed, as is advertising other types of art sites. If you’ve come here just to advertise your site, and not to contribute in other ways, then you are not welcome here. If you’re simply advertising porn sites with no artistic merit, then your post will be removed.

VoD may provide links to third-party websites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that VoD is not responsible or liable for the availability or accuracy of such websites or resources, or the content, products, or services on or available from such websites or resources. Links to such websites or resources do not imply any endorsement by VoD of such websites or resources or the content, products, or services available from such websites or resources. You acknowledge sole responsibility for and assume all risk arising from your use of any such websites or resources.
Software Piracy and Content Theft
Piracy is theft, pure and simple. Re-distributing pirated commercial apps, models or texture sets is strictly prohibited.
This excludes using character assets ripped from video games used in your own work, as the majority of inspired character models tend to use them in some capacity. We have no way of verifying ownership, and don’t want to risk punishing artists who unwittingly use them in their work.
Takedown requests from IP owners will be honored.
If you discover that a recognizable asset you own from a game you helped develop or distribute has been used in any image, and believe it violates your IP’s EULA, please contact us with the details and we'll arrange for the image to be be removed.
Copyright
Artists who share their work here retain the legal copyright to their work. It is immaterial that this is a free site.
Members may not claim other artists work as their own (either explicitly or implicitly). Making some small changes to the source image (such as removing the true artist’s signature and replacing it with a new one) does NOT make the image the property of the member.
The Galleries are reserved for original member artwork. Members may only post images by other artists for the purpose of comparing their own, inspired work to said images as long as they credit the original artist.
Fantasy Death Forum
VoD is primarily a 3D art board. We expanded our scope in June 2024 to provide a platform for the fantasy death fetish community. The rules in this section of the ToS apply to the new Fantasy Death forum.
Photographs
Revenge porn has become pervasive on adult sites. Legitimate, established producers do well in following current legal processes to verify age and keep records of consent. Amateur photographers tend to be another matter.
Fetish-themed photographs of consenting adults in staged productions are allowed, but restricted to the Fantasy Death forum in the Member Lobby. They must also include a disclaimer acknowledging you have a model release form in accordance with 18 U.S.C. 2257.
Screenshots
Members posting screenshots from custom fetish videos are exempt from the above requirements. Producers advertising their own content are not.
About Minors
While this section is next to last, it is no less important. It was strategically put near the bottom to ensure you would likely read everything else above.
Please note, VoD reserves the right to remove any content that appears to violate this part of the ToS without first consulting artists or writers, though we will notify you if we remove something. Our responsibility to the law on this matter outweighs your artistic expression.
Images of Minors
Here in the US, the legal age of adulthood is 18. Anyone under 18 is a minor. United States Code states that digital or computer generated images that are indistinguishable from an actual minor are illegal. That is the legal definition that we follow here.
Besides the illegality of child porn, our position on minors is that there is absolutely no logical rationale for children to be featured in content posted on an adults-only forum. With that in mind, we have only one cardinal rule: Depictions of minors in any context are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Images that involve child nudity are categorically prohibited, and any attempt to post, or link to child pornography will result in an immediate and permanent ban, with no appeal.
All artists must ensure that figures used in their work look at least 18. It is not enough to claim they are 18. They must also look 18.
Please note that fairies, pixies, elves, and other human-like creatures will be assessed as if they were human, and must also appear 18+.
Minors Referenced in Text
Similarly, any ages of characters referenced in literature must be 18 or over. This includes active participants in a scene, background extras, characters mentioned by other characters, and any narrative and expository info, all of which applies to both the Galleries and the Writers' Nook.
Legal Issues
It may be illegal for you to post, view, or be “in possession of”, certain types of subject matter, including bestiality or fantasy snuff, depending on your location and any applicable laws. It is your responsibility to find out the exact legal position that applies to you in this regard. As a viewer you may encounter both types of image here, along with other extreme content, including BDSM, torture, and similar subjects. If such content is not your cup of tea, or if you are at all worried about the legal implications of being inadvertently exposed to such material, then please do not join the site. If you have already joined the site and discover that the content is not to your liking then please leave and ask for your membership to be terminated. I will ensure that all relevant user data is deleted.
